The Adams County Sheriff's Office received an anonymous letter pleading for help in the case of inmate # 159192, Cornelius Baldwin, of Adams County, incarcerated since 9/27/2012 at Bolivar CCF on a charge of cruelty to animals and serving a sentence of three years. The letter stated that residents in the LaGrange subdivision in Adams County have received several possibly threatening phone calls allegedly from the inmate apparently from a smuggled cell phone.

Sheriff Mayfield would like to assure the residents of La Grange that we received the letter and that we have advised the prison in this matter.
