The Adams County Sheriff’s Office has become the second law enforcement jurisdiction in Mississippi to become certified to operate drones for law enforcement purposes. “This equipment will be used to keep an eye on large crowds, undercover operations or to get a better look at something without endangering a deputy”, said Sheriff Patten. The Adams County Sheriff’s Office has received all rights and privileges from the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) given the department authority to fly our drones anywhere in the United States.
