On September 26, 2016, a Honda Rancher four-wheeler reported stolen in Adams County was recovered in Gulfport, MS. Randall Derrick Williams of Hattiesburg was arrested by Gulfport Police Department and charged with Possession of Stolen Property for the four-wheeler.
ATV theft is at an all-time high and with hunting season beginning in the state of Mississippi, Sheriff Patten encourages everyone to be especially diligent in securing your ATV. It is also a good idea to have your serial number accessible in case it is needed by law enforcement.
