Press Release

On the evening of July 15, 2022, deputies were patrolling the Morgantown area when they observed two male subjects riding a four wheeler on Second Street. Deputies attempted to approach the subjects and they fled on the four wheeler behind a residence on Brooklyn Dr. and ran away on foot. When deputies located the four wheeler ( green Honda Rubicon), they noticed that the key had been bypassed and ran the vin number.

Deputies learned the four wheeler was stolen in Adams County from a residence on Wilkerson Rd on June 23, 2022. Deputies took possession of the four wheeler and contacted the owner. The male subjects that were riding the four wheeler have been located at this time and the case has been turned over the Criminal Investigation Division.

On the afternoon of July 17, 2022, deputies were patrolling Fredrick Road in the Kingston area when they noticed a blue Honda van that was missing the back doors and other pieces. This van matched the description of the van that was reported stolen by Natchez Police Department on July 14, 2022. Deputies ran the license plate and the vin number and confirmed it was in fact the vehicle that was reported stolen by Natchez Police Department.

Deputies called Natchez Police Department and turned the vehicle over to their Criminal Investigation Division
